Remember, remember (and why it's important to do so)

Welcome to the course!

It's so nice to meet you. Not only do we get to draw together, we will also get to actively remember our loved ones, as well as share a little about our losses with one another (if you feel comfortable - no pressure). As such, I realize that this course might bring up some raw emotions or sore spots. Feel free to take this course at the pace that you need to.

I am so proud of you for enrolling in this course and trying something new! I'm confident you will learn a lot, that you will find great interest as you engage in the process of making your portrait, and that you'll come out with something you can be proud of!

If you have any questions (about anything - grief, art technique, or tech problems) I am always available via email at [email protected].

Please watch this introduction video to see a general outline of our course and the topics we'll be covering.

Who are you remembering?

If you'd like to, feel free to introduce yourself and your loved one in the comments below. Please note that the comments are public and as such can be seen by fellow enrolled students. This gives us a great opportunity to get to know one another and also not feel so alone. Feel free to encourage one another as you read each other's comments. (Inappropriate comments/replies will be deleted.)
